I was able to open my uline work lock! Initially I had the wrong sticky number and my remainder was off (it was a decimal), but when I tried another sticky number (the digit right beside) my remainder became a whole number, and it worked. Thank you!

every single one of these videos says "you'll have it picked within seconds!" its been 3 hours -_-

From my understanding i got this from russej02 video from 5 years ago, the number 6 would just have zero play to it. No bounce or anything. U essentially just IGNORE number 6 and work number 5 through 1 to open. No need for spacers or anything. He even said u can save money by just buying the 6 pin kwisket and 6 pin shelege and not using the number 6 line. Can be hard to tell if its a 6 or 5 pin. I watched him open a 5 pin very easy with a 6 pin lock. Is there anything im missing? Seemed pretty straightforward 🤔🔥 many thanks everyone

Someone should make one with stainless discs. Looks like those are brass and would be easy to drill depending on the faceplate and what, if anything, is in it.

The genuine is not a knockoff. Look up the tools history.

So can you gut the kwickset if you don't have a key or do you need to modify the bible to get to the pins from the top first? I'm guessing that unless you take the (crimped or foil) cap covering the pins off the bible that you cannot. I'm curious because I got a box of about 150 pinned cores with bible of all types at a flea market for 10$ and only 5 of them have keys. I'm seeing "practice lock with progressive pinning" all over this but it's not as useful if I can't gut them.

Can you change the handling of the handle this way ? All of these Schlage locks seem to be right handed only. Where on a right handed door (hinges on your right when facing the outside of the door with the key hole). Allowing you to lock the door by turning the lock towards the door jam to lock. & back towards the hinges to unlock. Is there a way to switch that operation to make it work as a left handed lock ? Where on a door that has the hinges on your left side when on the outside of the door (facing key hole). Can lock towards the jam & unlock turning towards the hinges (or back to the upright position) ? In other words, to lock the door you'd: •From inside, turn the lock towards the left (counter clockwise). •From outside, turn the key towards the right (clockwise) ? Or is this impossible for schlage locks ?
